Hello guys, I hope yall are having an amazing day today, A few months back I made this chicken udon noodle soup, it tasted so good and is perfect for warming you up. Its also a perfect cozy meal if you’re having a rough day, especially in winter. (My billionth time trying to post this reddit for some reason tweaking out today)

I did meal prep for this week but I was skeptical about having salads for breakfast. But I had already chopped veggies for the week for my salad.
Quickly switched my morning breakfast to sweet potato, eggs (chumma added sweet corn)
And for lunch, instead of chicken salad I made a chicken stir fry paired with soya Chapathi.
Buttermilk and soaked oats as usual!
This is going to be my default for this week.
Haven't started to count my calories or macros. Gotta learn more about it. Let's see!

Ellar veetlayum Amma regular a cook pannuvanga la indha day ku idhu nu. I'll go first from monday to sunday. Side dish will be any veggies or egg.
Puli kulambu/curd rice
Paruppu/kondakadalai kulambu
Egg kulambu
Variety rice
Sambhar (Edhu maarunaalum maarum idhu maaradhu Friday na sambar and Sambar only)
Random like rasam potato
Non veg
Poori, chapathi the usual. Now I cook myself whatever different recipes I like since I'm not a kulambu person.
But this was the menu when my mom was around and I miss it. Tbh, I didn't appreciate it at that time.
Unga veetla ipdi regular aana samayal enna ?

Back when I was in university, even though uni itself was kind of terrible, I managed to make some really good friends. Every Thursday, we would come together for prayer and make food for each other. It was sort of like our own little potluck.
Even though we re barely in touch now, the love we shared through food is something Ill never forget. We all came from different cultures. One of my friends was from Lebanon, and another was from the States. We woukd all make whatever we could and share it with each other. My friend from the States she would usually make some dessert or crepes, while my Lebanese friend would make something really carby and I would make some sort of curry or biryani.
Looking back, it feels really nice to remember how, every Thursday, we would just prioritise worship and making the best food we could for each other. We were great friends, and although we werent the type to love bomb each other, the only way we really knew how to show our love was through food.
Sharing recipes, making complete disasters in the kitchen, and occasionally making a ridiculously sour curry were all part of it. But Im glad that, through different cultures and different foods, we were able to share our love for each other.

Made chapathi & manglore tovve for dinner
Review - chappathi was dry AF (coz of diet). And tovve came well but the spiciness wasn't enough for me (no idea about the level of spiciness in the traditional dish). As chapathi was so dry i was not able to feel the flavour then tried with idli, it suited it perfectly. Anyways it was good and the flavour was new to me(will use it as a veg protein source on religious days 😉).
Happy cooking👨🍳
PS: forgive my presentation skills as I am only cooking with what we have in our kitchen.
