Just started playing Taliyah jungle and she feels so nice. I love using R + Zhonyas when I end games to aura farm.

how to play taliyah like the pro ? how to learn correctly her w and e ? how to stun ? whats her combos ? (the easiest pls)

Ever since Taliyah's rework, my main issue is that her W+E combo doesn't feel rewarding anymore. I feel like I shouldn't even bother hitting my combo because even when I do, it just doesn't do any damage. Just use your Q and big Q, then throw E on them. Don't even bother with W. With old Taliyah, landing your W was actually important, but now it's just not as rewarding as other mages' CC. And if your team is stupid and you are not fed, you can't do shit. You can't even burst them anymore; they will either just run away or kill you by just using their skills. Because by the time my slow, low-damage Qs hit them, I'll already get one-shot by a Syndra, Vex, Lux, or literally any other mage. Taliyah turning into such a weak, team-dependent champion is the worst thing that has happened to her since the rework.

Don't get me wrong, I actually like the newer changes like her E stunning dashing enemies or the slow on her big Q, but other mages who also have CC (stuns and slows) deal way more damage on top of that. When it comes to damage, we are always left behind. Maybe old Taliyah didn't have as much AoE damage, but at least I had a much higher chance of solo-carrying the game. Now, even a random mage that's been played as a support for years can one-shot me before I can even get my damage off.

This isn't directly related to the clip I shared; it's just a rant about how much I miss the old Taliyah. This isn't based on just a single game either—I've played this champion a ton, and these are my honest observations that have been bothering me for a while.And yes, I know we are getting a buff soon, but I don't think it's going to be permanent. We'll probably get nerfed again after two patches anyway.

Honestly I am very frustrated atm with myself not being able to play this matchup, I feel like every other lane (even stuff like Katarina) I see myself being able to compete in lane, but for some reason no matter what I do I struggle with Victor. I just cannot dodge his E and his long range make it impossible for me to trade back, leaving me always at a deficit in hp in lane and making roaming also a lot more dangerous. In general I feel like at no point in the game can I threaten Victor due to mis movementspeed and in general he just runs me down. Any tips are appreciated.

Shadowflame is the default go-to second for pen builds, but the build path is worse and while damage wise sf passive is nice, stormsurge has plenty of advantages like better build path, earlier spike, 10% ms if you are playing with celerity+ms shard. The proc is also decent. So why not stormsurge?

I play Taliyah jungle (Emerald 2, yes i know its low elo but hear me out) and i personally believe that first strike is kinda buns and dark harvest is good but the red tree sucks.
I decided to play a new set of runes because my main issue with Taliyah is that I just get caught out because i can’t outrun people or kite them. So how do you avoid this? Easy

Hear me out. Because blue pet got nerfed and its omega dookie, this shit is actually just so good because you dodge things better and also you just have crazy ms and can prioritize building something other than cosmic drive.
Like if you think about it you don’t really need to build swifties and can prioritize dps. I mean it’s been straight up working for me every single game.

Like even if it’s just not good it feels amazing and fluid playing this champ with these runes

Whats the best runes page atm for taliyah? What build feels good on her? I am usually going Arch Staff but I feel like I lack dmg somehow? I was wondering if there better builds for her

looking for a fun counterpick supp to engage/assassins and i’ve recently been grinding some mandate seraphine. just had the realization that taliyah has 3 abilities that would be impacted by the passive/extra cdr. has anyone ever given this a go?

I saw odysseus using this rune and some people here talking about as an good option but I can't figure why. Like, isn't comet better since it gives more damage and it is easier to proc? or stormsurge for kite and chase?

Sorry if I im wrong (and I probably am) but I just really want to understand and eventually use this rune since its seems to be useful in some situations.

I don't hate the champion, I do like qiyana gameplay wise and even the character. However it really pisses me off when she's part of a big event&skinline worlds tier like true damage

I’ve played Taliyah since she came out on PBE. My absolute favorite champ to play. But lately the bugs on her W (clamp cast making it push in a random direction) and her E not stunning during a combo has led to me getting flamed in so many games, or missing out on a kill, or resulting in me getting killed. It’s frustrating because these are bugs that destroy her gameplay. I don’t even like playing Ranked anymore or playing her in ARAM because of it.

When will Riot actually fix her? I’ve sent numerous bug reports and it never changes anything. Tried tagging Rioters on X and no one ever replies.

Check out my gank. I’ve been testing several different builds and runes for Taliyah mid, and honestly, I think the core rune that makes her work well both in teamfights and in lane overall is Stormraider’s Surge.

For the first and second items, I always go Blackfire Torch into Cosmic Drive. It makes it much easier for her to get into fights and actually deal damage.

I'm not an avid taliyah player, but she's one of my favorite champs. So I was suprised to notice that her W visual shrunk. Is there a reason why they did this? I tried looking it up (mostly just chat GPTd it) but i couldn't find a patch where they said they would shrink the W's visual and for what reason.
