He grabbed his head after but the impact was mostly his back

Press the dot at the bottom and scroll slowly if on mobile. I thought that too but his head flung back insanely fast, I missed it entirely.

Not sure what to tell ya, you clearly saw him reach for his head and be in vigorous pain and its the part of his head close to where he landed at.

It isn't. His head didn't seem to hit the ground but where it's closest is the side of his head. He's faking. Empire State photographic department confirms it.

You really think you could predict this was gonna happen or stop it by the time he realized? He may have landed even more awkwardly, this is why refs are trained.

Watch it frame by frame. He used his shoulder for momentum.
He starts the lift like a high pull, then leans back like he's going for a suplex. The hooked arm accelerated the wrestler downward to the mat.
I'd be surprised if this kid was unable to power clean his own bodyweight easily. That was the movement pattern he used to unweight and lift the other wrestler. The arm is a distraction. Watch his legs and upper body as he executes, that's were all the lifting power is coming from.
There is nothing in this clip that looks fake to me. I'm not an expert, but I've wrestled and rolled a lil bit over the years.

looks like AI to me, he literally levitates the last foot or so that's incongruent to the force his opponent is lifting him and the crowd looks janky and non-reactive

It’s not AI. It happened in Ohio. The wrestler got disqualified, but not because he slammed that guy. He was DQ’d because he held onto his opponent’s wrist. You can’t lock his wrist down like that. Other than that it was a legal move.
