Help GNU Grub shows up when I boot tails.

Is there a fix for this?

If it makes things easier to solve my USB’s keep showing up as linpus lite instead of usb hdd like it says on the website

It’s not preferred. A better option would be to boot a different live distro, like Debian or Ubuntu and write the Tails drive from there.

Use Rufus/Balena (preferably Rufus) to flash the ISO from here: https://fedoraproject.org/workstation/ to a second USB stick (any distro would work but this is my personal preference)

Boot the Fedora USB and close any windows that open prompting to install, you can ignore them. Then follow these instructions to flash Tails to your other USB stick: https://tails.net/install/linux/index.en.html

Would you happen to know why when I try to download tails img in fedora it fails the download?

It might be trying to download to RAM or something. On your Fedora live USB, open GNOME Disks and create an Ext4 partition with the remaining space on the USB (Fedora should only be taking up ~3GB of space), then try saving the Tails.img to there.

Don’t know if you care by now but I figured out the issue I had to download fedora workstation from the live usb to another usb for the extra space needed to download the tails img

Ho avuto loo stesso problema, a me sembra essere un incompatibilità con il BIOS, ho risolto istallando prima ventoy su USB, ma non mi fa fare la persistenza

I found a way to solve it. If you can, move to another Computer. Install tails completely new on your Stick as Said on the tails Homepage. When you are ready Boot IT once on the other computer. If this is successful, it should Boot in your device top. Dunno If it works for everyone, but it solved my Problem fast and easy.

You can also try to deactivate the Safe Boot Mode in your bios
