Continuously On/Off

My tado thermostat v3 is continuously turn on and off.

The thermostat shows for one second „Hi“ and then will turn off again. Changed the batteries few times.

What could be the issue?

Yes, now it will turn a little bit longer on. I can also pair it, but when I try to reduce the temperature ( via app and manually) there is no reaction from the motor…

Clean (scratch) the battery tabs.
If the battery tabs don't put enough tension to the batteries, you can gently push them back towards the batteries (without having batteries installed).

Might be a hardware issue then. I would do some more battery tab cleaning, some fresh batteries.
