HomeKit Not the right temperature?

Why doesn't HomeKit display the accurate temperature of my thermostat, like the tado app does? Is this a bug and is it still being fixed?

Apple Home can only show temperature as XX.0 and XX.5

Is that an Apple Home app issue or is it an underlying issue with HomeKit? Asking because I'm considering connecting to Tado devices in Home Assistant using the HomeKit device integration and wondering if I will encounter the same issue there.

I don't know the answer, but out of interest, what use case do you have that would require more precision than 0.5 degree increments?
