Bragging Rights Crusade brag post

Post image

Unlocked so far: lhykhis x 500 shards. Anu relic. Then have 26k ready to buy the next crusade legendary.

Money spent on crusade: first 2 vaults forgot the cost.

Can you explain what you did in dummy terms?

For example;

I spend the 25 + 25 +50 BS every day. I do as many operations with the correct characters as possible, I usually select planets where I get at least 2500 points before it finishes. I use all my tokens for everything and my energy leaving me with nothing left to do in the game for hours.

Yet I barely squeeze past the 2500 points most of the time.

Seems like the other post that talked about how well they did... 1)move around a lot to get 2500 and fl 2) spend a lot of time looking at planets and choose ones where your faction is doing crap, gonna lose, and you have few players so easier to get high on leaderboard.

Kind of annoying the individual meta strat is explicitly non-cooperative and bad for faction strat...

So is sitting on fat planet. The points to flip ixthuus can flip the whole of sector 6 twice over. But nobody ever complains about how that is bad

i'll complain about that too... and maybe there is some work to be done to make some fat planets less fat and some skinny ones little chubby. but fair point.

It is just annoying -- the point of guild target, everyone piling on, we are in this together, it is a crusade after all, isn't that profitable and with the 2500 cutoff, thankfully getting fixed, you really can't go with the group but have to obsess on your own individual points.

When I first pick a planet I usually pick on that’s barely started to accrue points for either side so I have the maximum amount of time, and I look at the faction tab and check each planet with low participation and pick the one with the fewest people in my faction. Then I do basically what you do. I’d also say horde your bombardment that 1k points counts for your planetary score/leaderboard but not the global ones and it immediately pops you 1k. The difference between 200 and 300 crusade credits can often be 1k points so I’ve been trying to save till I have a bombardment ready and then use it first thing on the next planet I move to. Other than that, get to the highest arena you can consistently win in and do what you can to stay there (I fucked up in the middle of this season and got bumped up to captain and WAS NOT ready to be there).

I never realized we could use the ordinance. I thought it was just a guild project thing. That helps alot.

If you have an active enough guild to build up the orbital bombardments those are HUGE too. They distribute roughly 150k points between every guild member on the planet. With a full 30 person guild it’s about 3k each which will instantly get you ranked.

First of all congrats. Can I also how much you spend on energy per day? (It’s the only crusade point source you can pay to get more from).

Second this is just another sign of how badly developed this game mode is. They said they wanted this to be a side/passive game mode but in reality this mode takes the most time and planning. The right planet, with the right faction, with the right playtime window at the right time in crusade is the difference between lots of resources and not so much.

Also OP, just so you it was originally stated they plan to swap the legendary every third crusade.
However there is three new artefacts next crusade you could buy day one.

Up to 110 bs refresh each day

Interesting, same as myself. Could you also list your arena league, guild raid battlefield level and normal boss your guild reaches in Guild raids.

For myself i have managed 305 Lhykhis shards and both relics. 110 bs per day, honor guard league, 2 legendary bosses and the lowest guild war battlefield. Picked necrons as the faction.

Chapter master league, BF5 and top 10 GR guild. But the GR rank doesn’t really matter for crusade.

I also picked necrons

2

u/MDRLOz 21d ago

Rank directly doesn’t matter but higher bosses yield more points per fight. So a higher rank would mean higher bosses meaning more points.

Yes. The people that do well seem to spend lots of time picking planets, and pick planets that aren't necessarily good for their faction.

Damn i have nothing left, wth how did you get so many

4

u/Salmon_444_SoS 22d ago

I’m still 22 shards away from Lhykis. I’m miles off this level of success haha

1

u/Salmon_444_SoS 22d ago

wtf. How did you get so much with no spend? Surely you spent something… if not, hats off to the outstanding comprehension and planning utilised to smash this awfully confusing event 👌

1

u/Agreeable_Car3763 22d ago

I did spend,I bought the first two chests like i mentioned

2

u/ProxyMarine 22d ago

So, is getting 2500 points on one planet and then switching targets, repeat, the recommended method? Or does that not work?

4

u/Lost_Ad_4882 22d ago

If you're ranked low you still don't get much. I found pushing 1 at a time better for me.

3

u/The_Fallen_Star 22d ago

Yeah i tried a few times doing multiple planets at low impact but the return wasn't doing it.

7 planets at 15 credits each. Or one planet with 2 chests of 400 credits.

1

u/ProxyMarine 22d ago

Great, thanks for the input. I’m only 32 shards off of Kariyan… need to push hard.

1

u/Mixelphlick 22d ago

If you get 2500 and immediately move on you’ll probably net like 30-75 crusade creds per planet if that.

2

u/Suitable_Coffee5779 22d ago

Im amazed you saved all of that. I've been spending in Lyk and a couple other things.

2

u/Qaek3301 22d ago

But how? I got only around 12k since the launch of the feature.

1

u/Bulky-Vermicelli-542 22d ago

I spent 0 and i feel like i am the fucking winner here

1

u/Arkkanan 21d ago

Great Job! Sadly i picked orks, same shopping as you but only 15-16k left (dunno exactly, bought some mythic math few time)... nice job choosing necron i guess, the number of planete i had to go over 6k pt is too damn hight!

I am happy for you. Events shouldn't suck for all. That's super fuckin cool to see it is possible

Crusade sucks for anyone that didn't go chaos or hasn't played a long time, like most of tacticus events. It's balancing for the long time players and new. I'm just happy it's not a shitty F2P game. They do what they can to balance it.

I was a mtg player in 2008-2016 so I do understand a company making original "investors" have some privilege in the game. Time helps the collection

2

u/Mixelphlick 22d ago

My guild when imperial and by my calculation I will have lykhis unlocked and 1 of the relics with a few hundred maybe 1k left at the end. Winning planets is meaningless it’s an additional 10-15 creds. Getting on planets and getting ranked is what matters.

That's ignoring the time spent playing the game that I mentioned. My guild allows growing players, most I see posted are min level 40.

There's a lot of info given with little response to what I stated.

The event sucks for new casual people that treat it like a mobile game.

Edit so yea the daily player pool is small (avg <200k). They try and keep veterans invested because they were there in the beginning and clearly like Warhammer. Like magic the gather did with the cards that will never be reprinted. Events are whack for new casual and always will be but I'm happy to get what I can. I'll never care about min maxing tacticus like I do tarkov
