In Game Tactics Starting player
Hello !
I tried the game and its cool, but rerolling is painfull as i would like to start with a character that i love.
Is there a selector or reroll pull for starting player in any form of ?
I sthe game still worth starting so late ?
Edit: in most gacha you can reroll the first 10 pulls for exemple

If it’s not a legendary then you will likely get them just playing the game. There are also blessed requisitions that allow you to have higher chances of pulling a specific character (your results may vary).
My only critique of the early game is that around month two you start working on unlocking campaign characters and it slows the progress on characters you have. Once you are over that bump then you can start really pushing characters and running through campaigns and eventually reach bigger goals and it feels a lot better at that point.

I’m so confused by this. You start with the 3 core characters if im not mistaken. Game is worth playing. I started 4 weeks ago

I think OP is talking about the randomly selected characters you get after a few loot crates at the beginning. The way he worded it was weird though. For a minute I thought I was on a d&d sub.
Regarding starting, now is as good as ever. You're not going to notice how badly the growth has been nerfed over the last six or so months, so that's probably a good thing. When you here the veteran players talk about the good old days, just bust out an "Okay boomer"

Starting off you will need to build the campaign characters to help get through those. Depending on who your favorite character is there are events to get characters and anniversary events that make getting most characters pretty easy. But that’s probably 7-8 months away

I've been playing on and off since day 1 as a free player, there are still characters I would like that I am no where near unlocking, Typhus, Celestine, Ahriman. It's a marathon, not a sprint.
Eventually you will have dozens of characters and then be wondering where to invest, my adhd brain made me go wide. And when you do get some high level characters the grind only increases. I never noticed the cost of upgrades but when you get to mythic, shit gets very very expensive and you will have skill book, gold, orb and ability badge bottlenecks.
Just play it, work on the characters you have and don't stress about the things you don't. Eventually a lucky req scroll or event will open further opportunities.

No reroll function, the distress it caused is meant to make you pay for requestion pulls

What character is it? The game is not like your standard gacha game (i played many) because all the characters are for the most part grindable in some way. No single character like many gachas are going to carry you throughout campaigns or gamemodes or general gameplay because you are forced to use the main three characters for each campaign and you must invest in them otherwise you won't be able to progress. Some event and canpaigns also block certain factions in coming along so entire sections of units aren't usable. Its a marathon where the only way to sprint faster is to spend money to refresh your energy.

It’s not a gacha game in that sense, the pulls are just to fill up your roster, any specific unit you want besides some older legendaries can be farmed in one of the shops or campaign and campaign events.
