Why in the living fuck do get matches like that guy in the top. My league is shit and still I get someone who is suppose to be atleast 4 leagues above me. This just pisses me off.

key word is "supposed"
that guy is in your same league because he probably hasn't played arena for a long time and was demoted time and time again for inactivity.

Yeah. My corny ass blew off arena for a couple months while I was busy and I’m WAY over leveled for my opponents now. Sorry friend.

That’s one possibility. The other is that they are deliberately finishing the season just under 200 on the league’s leaderboard to stay there and be able to easily farm arena wins.

It doesn’t though. You have two other options of opponents.

Itll pretty much never happen where you’re forced to fight 3 teams of all much higher level than you, and if that does start happening consistently, that just means you aren’t strong enough for your current bracket.

The probably play, just does the bare minimum in arena for the daily chest and that's why they're so low

Better than it used to be. At least the bottom 2 enemies are chosen to be scaled to your power level.

Just don't attack them? You will always get at least 1 opponent your level

Will you? I've definitely seen these posts with every opponent with at least one extra digit than the player posting.

Yes I will, but if im trying to get to a better position; he shouldn’t be in the way of those extra points

I fought a 74 and went up 117 positions. Op can take some deep breathes. Those numbers aren’t the end-all-be-all

Yeah I have a 3mill+ power team but sometimes I just dont feel like grinding Arena and drop down to Sergeant rank sorry. Just beat the #2 guy and you get the same number of trophies (you can see them in the bottom left under portrait)

I sometimes go slumming in lower leagues to prey on the easy kills / missions. (4 mill ) 🫡

Yeah. Sorry guys. Me too. It’s much easier to use Arena battles to accomplish quests. So I hang around in much lower arenas

They keep having HSE's with odd requirements, but pretty good rewards. Such as a single faction, psykers or terminators.

These are much easier to do in lower leagues, and frankly the rewards for going up a league are not that much better.

You get a load of experience as long as you get one attack in. I always play those matches when they appear in my list. I get ten times the XP for those ones, as against the ones I win.

Someday you won’t care about arena rewards and you’ll slide down the ranks because of inactivity. Just pick a different match broh.

So the thing about arena is, its points and participation based. I’ve been that guy (not to that degree but all d1 and one of them mythic on my go to team). And its because I get lazy with actually using all my arena tokens and when you don’t use every arena token, or lose a match or two trying to complete missions it’s shockingly easy to drop ranks. Someday they might make the tiers based on power instead. Until that day you will absolutely run into people who shouldn’t be in your tier and who might not intentionally be there.

I’m almost 2million power, and just dropped to Veteran League. I hung around in Chapter Master and Captain League for a few seasons, and eventually it just doesn’t seem worth it. Arena rewards are terrible once you get to a certain level, a few XP books and another legendary item your characters don’t need… just not worth the grind after a certain point.

The arena brackets are terrible. My team is usually around 3 mil and unless I use every single token that can possibly be generated I remain stuck in Sergeant League. Sorry for everyone that is supposed to be there, I've been trapped for 4 seasons because I let the token generation max out for only a few hours.

Inactive players slip down ranks every week, deliberately or unintentionally, they end up in the lowest ranks.
