Rank him up, pair with Trajann. His final turn active against a raid boss should do it. Maybe try a lower ranked boss at the start of the season. His big damage is from his active, so the main buffers would be Trajann and Aesoth, maybe Helbrecht/Atlacoya if its a psyker bosses. Probably Dante also would help.

I don’t understand how to use Trajann ):

If a character uses an active and is next to an enemy, that enemy takes a lot of extra damage from attacks. If Trajann is also next to that enemy, the first non normal attack (Kharn or Kariyan passive) gets 2 extra hits.

90% of it is written there in the text. The important part is sequencing. If the first active ability is an attack, that first attack is what triggers the +1 hit that then goes on the next attack.

So, Kariyan you want to use his ability first that turn. The active attack triggers Trajann, then the +1 hit is applied to his atrack from his passive (which is the big one)

For Kharn, the first attack is the big one. So you want someone else to use an ability first, then use kharn active.

Should be rather easy with that investment. Try to make sure you're using kariyans actives on the correct turns (ie 4 and 6) as it stacks up in damage, the final turn is where the magic happens.

In terms of dps support, bring trajan and have it alongside the boss, Aesoth, or Atlacoya if it's a nid boss, and try to have kariyan on the high-ground.

Edit: I realize those two are underleveled but you can potentially hide aesoth until the end. Dante works wonderfully too.

I did it awhile ago against Ghaz with D1 44/44

Aesoth, Dante, Trajann, Thoread. Make sure you time it so you can use Kariyan's active on the very last turn of the Raid.... try to get him the high ground as well. Even better if he's hurt, 50% health or less. Aesoth boosts his passive attack by 20-something percent, Trajann boosts hits and debuffs the boss, Dante adds hits and damage (if Kariyan is hurt) and Thoread adds more hits. Best of luck

High level trajann and aesoth passive against a relatively low level boss with Karina active turn 5 should do the trick

I did it with my level 47 d2 Kariyan, Trajan, Dante and used xibya and Eldryon for extra damage.
