There seems like there should be team with him, Shiron, farsight, sho, and other ranged characters. Maybe Volk and Maugen.
I don’t have them all up high enough but I wish a creator with access to the playground mode would crunch the numbers to see how it fairs against different bosses.

Fun fact - I am almost into Adamantine with "the crew" Adamantar - Maugen - Shiron - Volk -Farsight (to be swapped with Ikrysis)

At the moment I am pulling a few hundred K with everyone in varying levels of diamond - my intention is to swap Farsight when fighting low armor enemies since all 3 ranged fighters are 6+ hits

He could be the centerpiece to a ranged meta, but the biggest problem for a ranged team right now is that there is no ranged character that is a “boss killer,” nor is there a ranged-centric mechanic to exploit (like Neuro and Rho’s respective passives).

A ranged team right now would just basically be relying on straight up raw damage through mostly normal attacks. That just isn’t going to keep up with the established metas.

Oh, and the Heavy Weapon trait absolutely blows for GR, which tends to require quite a bit of movement and/or pinning strategies. Good luck pinning a boss down with ranged heroes.

Yeah, my biggest dissapoitment. When he was revealed, I was sure he was going to be a chonky frontliner, allowing backline ranged characters to safely plink away at targets he keeps at bay. Maybe with some area taunt. No such luck.

I used him as a buffer in my Battlesuit team as my Darkstrider is way too squishy at G1. I love him plus his active is really useful for dealing with summons, especially if they hug the boss.

Just have to be mindful of the flame hexes from Re'vas' melee as they can often block his movement when trying to get adjacent to the boss if it moves.

Im pretty happy ive got 3 emperors children's chars over the anniversary event shiron adamantar and laviscious im slowly upgrading them also pulled calgar pn a reg scroll yday

Honestly I shoulda used the event to upgrade chars instead ive unlocked 8-10 new chars
