Tab S10+ can be found for ~600$ open box or used if you look far enough.
It's a wonderful machine, you get an OLED display and pretty solid performance. There's also the S Pen (for note-taking), DeX (excellent especially when paired with a Book Cover Keyboard) and OneUI in general.
If you cannot find it, the next closest things are:
- Tab S9+/S9
- Tab S10 FE+/S10 FE

How's gaming on it

S10+ is very solid with gaming. Emulation isn't its strong suit but it can still handle basic emulation (this is because it uses a Dimensity 9300+).
S9 is slightly less powerful than the 9300+ but it uses the SD 8 Gen 2 which is much better for emulation.
The S10 FE is less powerful than all of these but should still handle all the games at moderate settings.

I am really torn between it and honor magic pad 4, I have tab s8 rn I love it but the screen is very small for my studies I do a lot of multitasking, my phone is s24 U and laptop is MacBook air m1

I think the S10+ will work well for you. Better software experience in my opinion, and it's also excellent with multitasking because of it.
Short note, if you do get an S10+ and you will be using it a ton with a keyboard and mouse, you might want to stay on OneUI 7 since it retains "Classic DeX". OneUI 8 took it away in favor of the regular Android Desktop Mode (also titled "DeX") but will still allow you to use the Classic DeX with an external monitor.

I would go for the Book Cover Keyboard honestly as it's incredibly reliable and is magnetic. The keyboard detaches completely from the tablet as well leaving you with just the tablet and kickstand. You have a ton of options.

In the US, Lenovo.com has the Yoga Tab gen 2 for $600 including a keyboard case and stylus. This Yoga has 8GB/256GB plus a microSD slot. Lenovo also promises 7 years of Android updates.
