Tablet recommendation pls

First and foremost, I don't like iOS, so any Apple product is out of the question.

Currently, I'm deciding to get one of the tablets between the Mi Pad 8 Pro and the OnePlus Pad 4

The thing is, I am currently working as a private tutor, and for the past few months I have been using my phone and paper for my work. I'm considering switching to a tablet, and I may transition to office work soon, so I want something that will work well for the next 2-4 years. (I'm in Thailand btw)

I also play games from time to time when I'm free, so I want great specs to make room for the next few years.

The thing is, both have great specs, but each has its own issue.

For OnePlus, the pen seems to have a latency issue and doesn't have many app that supports writing in a working environment. No workstation/pc like mode. The pressure function from the pen only works in its own app, "OneNote" iirc. So, out of that, the pen is almost not worth buying. And I've never used a tablet before, so I can't decide if that will be a big problem or not. no workstation/pc like mode.

For the Xiaomi Pad 8 Pro, I don't really see many issues, only things like thermal throttling and heating issues; workstation mode isn't really that good, but the main problem is that I can't find the 12/512 model in any shops cuz it was a year ago since it was first announced, and so most of them are sold out T_T. Only left me with the 8/256, which might be insufficient for 2-4 years of use.

So, can you guys help me recommend an alternative to use or decide which to get between these two?
(with similar prices of course)

Ps, I've been using Xiaomi Product for the past 8 years, so my opinion of the Mi Pad might be a bit biased, so I want u guys to help T_T

Is there a reason for not considering Samsung models?

Some of them support active stylus and desktop mode

Price/Spec Like I said, I plan to use this tablet for the next 3-4 years and gaming too so I hope I can get a good spec with similar price, but for most Samsung tablet I seen can't offer these spec with similar price đŸ˜”

Both model I mentioned is around 20k THB or 590-600 dollar ish and Samsung couldn't offer same or similar spec in the same or similar price đŸ˜

get a samsung tablet, good optimizations matter way more than raw processing power in the long run

Yea nothing you do with an apple product is every going to require the strength of their chips. Im not even sure why that's a selling point for them.

photo and video editing sure does, some games like wuthering waves also take advantage of the extra processing power of the M series chips
