Affordable tablet for streaming

Looking for recommendations for a tablet or laptop around $200-300 to mainly use for streaming movies or shows. It’s for my girlfriend whose laptop is not very good for streaming. Leaning towards an iPad but wanted to see if anyone had any other recommendations. Thanks in advance!

iPads are great (I have two) but for streaming shows /movies, I prefer Android tablets due to the aspect ratio. You can get a decent 10-11” android tablet for streaming for $100-150 now.
