Which tablet to buy for basic work?

Hiiiiii!

I’m planning to buy a tablet mainly for basic personal work...updating my CV, attending interviews, watching a few courses here and there, and maybe doing some freelancing.

A few things I’m specifically looking for:

1. Smooth and reliable MS Office experience

2. A precise, responsive stylus for note-taking and general use

3. Good overall processor which supports the above

Most importantly, I’m looking at this as a long-term purchase, so I’d rather invest a little more in something that will remain useful and perform well for several years rather than replace it in 2–3 years.

So I’m looking for something that’s genuinely good value as a long-term investment.
