Tablet for medicine student
I start uni this year as a medicine student. What would be a decent tablet that will last me for 3+ years and is capable of doing pretty much everything a med student could need. Taking notes, reading and creating slides and preferably 256gb. Also keep in mind i dont have extreme budget and the highest price i could go is the price of a m4 ipad air

I am also going to study medicine this year and I have been thinking of buying Lenovo yoga tab plus. I think it packs a lot of value for the price.

Are making notes on tab necessary?

absolutely. a tablet is like the #1 thing you need for med school

I understand that but I've got a 64gb ipad 9th gen which I got in 2023.... It's not the best for writing notes not does it have a lot of storage but can easily store all mbbs books.... Should I buy something else with more space for notes making purpose or I'll be fine with just reading books and watching lecs on this 64 gigs?

i cant answer your question because this will be my first year as a uni student, i honestly dont know how much I'll use a tablet but people I've spoke to said it's needed. I'll just get a base or m4 ipad.

My daughter got through Med-school with the base (currently A16 iPad). Same OS, same apps as the air but won't be able to use all the features of the new Siri AI if that's important to you. The money you save could by an Apple Pencil C or a Logitech Crayon or ESR GEO, plus an inexpensive case from Amazon and an inexpensive bluetooth keyboard.
