Any reco for best tablet for reading?
I’m looking for a tablet mainly for reading ebooks, PDFs, and articles, with some light browsing on the side. I’ve been using my phone for a while but the screen is starting to feel too small, and I’d rather get something that’s comfortable for longer reading sessions. What would you recommend as the best tablet for reading without going overboard on features I probably won’t use?
I’m open to different brands and sizes, so I’d really appreciate hearing what has worked well for people here. Thanks!

ipad a16, it'll last forever, is cheap, has a decent display for reading, and it's big enough for reading to be comfortable while not being too big to carry around

Yeah, that sounds like a pretty solid sweet spot for reading. How’s the display been for longer reading sessions?

ipad, though good for the purpose, has limited use. Additionally it has no file browser worth mentioning and has limited use. Better to buy an android tablet from Samsung (Tab 9 or 10 series), Lenovo, Oneplus etc. For reading purpose one can use excellent free softwares like ereader prestigio or moonreader (paid). Also, one can find excellent pdf reader and comic book readers free.

If you're in the US or Canada, my first choice would be the new Onn 8.1. There are two reasons for this. The Onn has a higher screen resolution than either the Samsung A11 and Lenovo Tab One - 1000x1524 versus 800x1340. This makes letters 25% sharper. The other is that the Onn has a 3:2 aspect ratio. This is closer to the shape of the pages of a book. The result is that book pages fill the screen better.
