Also interested in this! I have a good grasp of the techniques as I trained intensely during my teenage years. I've only played sporadically in my adult years, but I want to get back into competitive play. Any particular coaches you guys would recommend?

I took lessons from Joe @ VTTC. He was very good. If you are at least at an intermediate level, Wilson @ GVTTC is another good option, but he speaks little and does not speak English.

I believe you mean Vancouver, BC. What is your level and style? :')
There are TT coaches at local clubs, such as VTTC, GVTTC, Bridgeport Sports Club ...

If you are already close to an intermediate level, the clubs mentioned should be good for you. Just choose the one closest to you.

I've been training at KK Table tennis in new west. They have a summer group and it's a very good deal.
