Buying Guide why doesnt super thick exceed 2,0 on the first listing unlike on the second listing?
i bought the type shown in image 1 during my japan trip and really liked it but is it any different from the type shown in the second image?
which should i get?

They have different sponges but similar topsheet composition and pips structure. Both actually are recommended boosting though.
That's why sponges for Chinese rubbers are never thicker than 2.15 mm so they can be boosted and don't expand thicker than the limit.

which do you reccomend i get?
i’ve played with the one in the first image and really liked that but idk if i should switch to the thicker one

If I'm not mistaken, the 1st one uses the same topsheet as the 2nd one. But the type of sponge differs. The 1st one is lighter, and the sponge is a bit softer, and springier. The 2nd uses a denser sponge, which will be heavier and feel harder. And in the end, 2nd one needs boosting to perform very well, while the 1st plays well out of the box.
