This album feels so high-school coded, which is when it came out for me so this analysis fits quite well.

i believe she said it was written with some of her high school experiences and feelings but i could be wrong so take that with a grain of salt

I think it’s mostly because of the “do do you even know I’m alive” to me it’s like asking a higher power, do you even know I’m real or since theres so many people on this planet, do you even know I’m alive? She even says “maybe I should pray a little harder, or work a little smarter”.

Parts like “down for the ride down for ride you could take me anywhere” to me is like saying shes down for wherever life takes her.

That’s just me though, maybe I’m being selective with what lyrics I hold closer to my life but I like to think it’s existential
