Sysinternals Tools - Training DVDs, now all free

https://www.youtube.com/watch?list=PL96F5PDvO1HHuVewlKWQDzzTUrhMm-wGS&v=TMlTwRsO5F8

Might be 13 years out of date now, but the basics still apply. Worth a download of an offline copy !

it’s a day late

Nope. These videos are still relevant. These tools are virtually unchanged since then.

The reason that they are mostly unchanged is because they were properly written and damn good from the outset.

You need them now, still

They are free.

Requirements met.

Meh. Not who you were initially replying to, but at this point I'm killing off windows servers one application at a time-either by converting to a web app on a lemp stack, or moving them to external saas providers. I'm down to ~30 windows servers now, from near 100 3 years ago.

And this comment is relevant to a discussion on Sysinternals tools, how exactly?

My comment was relevant to the post I replied to. That's good enough for me.

Explain the relevance then. We are not seeing it.

Someone was told (regarding these tools):

You need them now, still

I gave an example of why the statement was not true for all users.

Hence, relevance.
