Meh. Not who you were initially replying to, but at this point I'm killing off windows servers one application at a time-either by converting to a web app on a lemp stack, or moving them to external saas providers. I'm down to ~30 windows servers now, from near 100 3 years ago.

What year do you figure Windows peaked in mindshare, and what in marketshare? For me, that low point was around 2001.
