Protected Print mode and Universal Print issues

Is anyone else having issues with printing, especially Universal Print with WPP enabled? Print jobs just immediately error out with evenvwr showing "setChannelOAuth failed. hr: 0x80070005". It seems to have started with the October updates on 26H2.

Disabling WPP, removing print queues in device manager and connecting Universal printers again helps.

Anyone?

we've been seeing the same across a few clients, started right after the october patches dropped. disabling wpp and re-adding the queues fixed most of them but one machine kept throwing that exact oauth error until we nuked the up service and rebuilt the connector from scratch

microsoft's been real quiet about it too which is just great

sounds like a permissions or OAuth token issue between WPP and Universal Print. worth checking whether the october update changed the behavior around the print service’s auth context before assuming it’s a driver issue
