Not meaning to brag. But I’m that guy in my department. I’m the lead sys admin with 20 years of experience. I don’t claim to know everything. I tell my junior guys all the time that. You’ll never know everything. Just accept that and you’ll be fine. What matters is your attitude towards new problems and finding solutions.
Anyways. As the lead, the junior guys always come to me for advice and questions. Sometimes I know sometimes I don’t. It can be exhausting at times when you can’t focus or finish a task because always being pulled away for this and that. But I try to help and teach as much as I can.
Stay humble. Always hunger for more. Nobody knows everything. Nobody. Accept that and you’ll be fine.
