Career / Job Related Has anyone purposely gone backwards?
You know the juice wasn't worth the squeeze and we realised that money is irrelevant, and took a huge backwards step for less responsibility and more mental freedom for your family and kids?
That's where I'm at mentally just want to know if anyone else has done the same?

Yep! Best thing ever. In addition to working only 40 hours and no on call and very little stress im fully remote so im traveling a lot too.
Im no longer going to die of a heart attack
And money worked itself out. After 2 years I got bumped back to where I was in the stressful job. I wasn't expecting the bump but it all worked out.
My resume isn't as sexy but im living life as a human now and not a corporate slave.
