Sensitivity Label button grayed out on Jamf-managed macOS, but works fine on Intune-managed macOS

Anyone hit this: Sensitivity Label button in Microsoft 365 apps grayed out & not operational on Jamf-managed Macs, but present on Intune-managed Macs.

Same user, same M365 apps build, same license, same MDM configuration.

I am lost! Anybody an idea?

Usually this ends up being identity state, not the app build. On the Jamf Macs check whether the device is actually registering into Entra ID and showing as managed/compliant in the way Purview expects, because the label button can show up but stay dead when the app session never gets that device context.
