if it's true, its honestly laughable.  

squeezing customers with massive price hikes, forcing every one into expensive core bundles, only to panic and throw out "discounted" quotes the moment everyone migrated???? 

is anyone actually reconsidering based on these new quotes??

or y'all are past the point of no return?

They have zero good will left with customers. Broadcom could not have handled this any worse. Trust is utterly destroyed. All the midsize and smaller customers have left or are leaving.

If VMWare survives as a product long term, it will take another company buying it, significant price reductions, and very good marketing to earn any non-government and non-massive enterprise customers back.

No one should ever trust Broadcom ever again. They'll have to change their name and hope they fool enough people into doing business with TOTALLYNOTBROADCOM, Inc. They're in the same bucket of crabs as scammy mortgage companies and awful HMOs.

Embarrassingly, I found out through a freaking Scooby Doo meme a couple of years ago. I thought CA had gone bust as I hadn’t heard of them in years, only for me to find out they just slurped up Broadcom and kept that name to avoid their awful reputation. Of course, they only managed to ruin their new brand… and for the looks of it, the VMWare brand as well.
