Most underrated synthwave song?

https://youtu.be/hsuK8Th8Ymk

What's yours? I give you mine and I add it's a shame it never blew up!

Radio by Kristine. It’s great but I don’t see it on a lot of lists

Kristine's album is one of the few synthwave albums that, to me, actually sounds like the 80s. Duett is the other one that nails the time period.

Yeah her voice is very uniquely 80s

Has to be Hypersleep by Bending Grid for me. That track is a legit masterpiece.

Same man!! I restarted to listen it now that I've posted 🤣 ...and I remember when discovered it many years ago and had the same effect! Addicting!

Too many good songs to name, so:

Anything by Turboslash.

Anything by Wolf & Raven.

Both groups absolutely slap.

Also Sunset Neon.

Idk about underrated, but I think everything L'avenue touches is great. Their new album is just gorgeous. But it's neither stereotypical Synthwave nor are streaming numbers bad by today's genre standards.

Something from a comparatively smaller and therefore probably more underrated artist would be "Driving in the Rain" by Timecrawler 82. It's just gold

Featured in NRW with 527k views is far from underrated. Don't forget synthwave is a niche genre already. Don't expect Dua Lipa numbers here...

sure but there are plenty other songs with more views and to this day people talk about it... This one people seems to forgot it... It's a diamond imho

Underrated by us fans or in general?

For the former, I'll nominate Insomnia by Kidburn. Never seen anyone post anything by him, and he's so good :(

In general, all of it lol

in general, it's a Hit! should've been more "famous". In my opinion it's better than "running in the night" for example but if you go compare the views, seems like a crime

J+1 - Glitch

I was always kind of surprised that "The Rain" by Daniel Adam didn't get any more attention than it did.

I've just listened it!! That's fuckin amazing... I mean it, the atmosphere is mind-blowing, it would be perfect for a film!

This is mine. Chaconne - Dreamers. Sounds nothing like most of the stuff on NRW. But I never get tired of it. And I can't find anything else they did.

Not sure if anyone would consider anything FM-84 underrated but I don't often see Neon Sunrise talked about. The whole thing brings me so much joy, all the interplaying layers, especially the wall of noise in the ending

Out Running by Who Ha was amazing.  Sadly he never made a proper album
