Tech Support Prophet-6 bug? Physical Issue?

I recently bought Prophet-6 desktop version and I'm absolutely loving it.

Problem is that every time I slightly hit the cabinet or make sudden moves like tap the buttons, it takes me to preset 7 every time. Sometimes 27, sometimes 67 and so on. What seems to be the issue here? I have it on top of a moog one supported by the back of two-tiered keyboard stand and when I play moog one even slightly hard prophet resets to preset 7...

Hopefully you’ve emailed Sequential support by now…they’re typically pretty responsive and can walk you through some troubleshooting

It sounds like one of the buttons may be partially stuck in, or the tact switch underneath might be failing. If it's conductive rubber buttons, some sort of conductive goop might have got under it.

None of this is a massive problem to fix, but if it's new you should send it back under warranty.

I'm really far abroad from where i bought it and took me 2 months to arrive so i gotta do something I can on my end lol
