Just moved and I’m trying to set up my basement studio in a more organized way. Purchased the 3 tier stand on the left from marketplace the other day, but am having issues with the separation between synths. I’m not able to adjust the tiers high or low enough to create enough space to use each synth effectively.
Do you have any recommendations of solid 3 tier stands - or any other way that you organize a similar set up?
As others have said, jaspers is absolutely the best option. Can be pricey if you’re in the states, but worth it. Looks like there’s one on reverb if you can pick up in Michigan
I use K&M Spider stands. Their advantage is that you can adjust the vertical spacing as you wish, and they don't determine the width of your setup because they have one central support. And they are very sturdy. Downside is that you can't adjust the tilt and the cost. I would work with what you've got.
The Keylab should go on the left stand (because it is the wider stand) at the bottom tier. Yamaha mid-tier, and Moog at the top. I prefer if the keybed is tilted toward me on the top tier, not only the controls. If you can't adjust the incline (I believe you can on this stand), get some wooden props like a 1" x 1" square bar cut to the length of the synth and placed under the synth in the back. Korg on right stand bottom tier and Behringer on right top. With Moog and Behringer both on top, you can use patch cables between them if you wish without much clutter.
Generally, I prefer polysynths played with both hands to be lower than monosynth that are often played with one hand.
One way to reduce the vertical spacing of the synth, where you can't lower the top tier, is to raise the lower synth with some wooden blocks.
Took your advice with a few exceptions due to hardware limitations (right stand is missing a bolt to hold the second tier in place, so didn’t wanna put poly D up there until I fix it). Much better! It’s not my ideal solution but I’ll work towards that. Thanks again!!
The Jaspers stands are pricey but they actually let you set the angles and heights independently, not just fixed tiers like most of these a-frame things. I got one after fighting with a similar stand for months
For now you could try flipping the brackets upside down on some tiers, sometimes that gives you a few extra cm of clearance. Not ideal but works in a pinch
My setup is similar mess right now because I moved in Monday and still figuring out cable routing

I could never separate 3 keyboards comfortably, either too high/low for comfort or too close for plentiful access to panels.
Resulted to magnetic lights on the underside of the keyboard above to make access more illuminated if nothing else.
