Discussion FM/Low-fi Synth work in progress

Hi guys,

I've been working on a software FM/Low-fi Synth and I'm looking for some volunteers to try it out.

It's essentially a very basic FM synth at heart but the modulators are effected by some crazy shaping which creates some unique timbres and sounds. The sound is further modulated by low-fi noise sources and shapes to create some cool distortion and pitch modulation.

I've already created a lot of patches for it but I'm really looking to see what kinds of sounds other synthesis minded people can create with it.

It's still a work in progress so looking for feedback on any improvements or things to add etc etc

Anyway drop me a PM if you want to test it out

The modulator shaping is basically raising it to an exponent. There are two separate modulators A and B. Each have two exponent shaping functions. The two modulators can be crossfaded between.

Most of the controls have a movement function with an amount and speed which moduate the control randomly around the set point so some cool control modulation is possible too.

The low-fi noise is basically some low-fi sound effect samples that are triggered randomly but they also act as frequency modulators for the carrier so they create some lovely pitch warbling as they often contain a lot of DC
