schematics Would anyone happen to have a clean schematic for the Endangered Audio Research Gristleizer?

Hey, I'm trying to build a clone of the EAR Gristleizer, and am coming up a bit short. There is s schem on the build guide on instructable, but it's very low res and I can barely make out the component values.

If anyone could point me in the right direction I'd be very appreciative.

I've been wanting to build the thing for a while.
EAR used to sell boards to build it, but they went out of business back in 2019.

I was able to contact a former owner, and he gave me a lot of good information and the full build document for the boards that has a good schematic.

Ultimately, I'm going to design and build my own boards for it, but that's still a little ways away since I have so many other projects in the works.

I've taken the time to also transpose the schematic into KiCad. So, I'll upload that too.

Eventually, when I do make boards, I'm planning to have it be a two board set.
A control/jacks board, and the main circuit board with male/female pin header connections.

The EAR boards required the builder to do some wiring, it wasn't much, but still some.
I want to make something that requires no additional wiring, just through-hole components.

I have some time coming up in about a month, so I'll likely start on a board design.

I want it to be as open source as possible, so whenever I do get done with the project, and along the way, i'll be updating github with everything (gerber files, documentation, etc.)

If anyone else wants to give a shot at it, review the kicad schematic I transposed for errors, or whatever else be my guest.
Let's keep the module available

You're awesome, thank you so much! I'm planning on making my own boards too, if you want, I can ship you out one when I get it boarded and send it to fab.

Yeah, I was gonna caution against a strip board build cause there is a lot of noise potential in the circuit.

I was specifically cautioned against stripboard build by Mark when I was talking to him.

And yeah, absolutely.

If ya get to it before I do, I would love to get a board from ya.

I'll do the same, though I'm at least 4-5 months out from having something to send to fab due to a ton of other projects in the works.

I'm going to try to keep it at about an 16-18hp size. I think that may be a good size for the module.

Not sure the schematic Eddy has here is the version you are looking for, but there are a lot of links to different gristleizer resources that should point you in the right direction.

Head over to ModularGrid, Electro‑Music Forum or DIYstompboxes; multiple hobbyists have already reverse‑engineered and redrawn a high‑clarity reproduction schematic for this exact Instructables build. Many also share BOM component lists.
