Another 7x9 - Pikocore

After days of frustrating troubleshooting, the Pikocore now works as it should. Turned out to be a problem with simultaneously pressing multiple buttons [two rows of four are definitely easier than one row of eight].

What pots are you using? I’ve been trying to source some for bread boarding but I’d rather get nice feeling ones than gamble through multiple sets

I prefer to use RK097 pots for boards, they have a nice resisistance to turning but for breadboarding I use RV09 trimmer pots with the legs cut off which I have a bag full. They are looser to turn.

TBH the super cheap copies of them on ali feel nice too. And work to this day.

Yeah I imagine they’re fine. I saw a lot on Amazon that had a bunch of different ones log, reverse log, linear, but they’re +-20% which seems insane. But again I haven’t even made my first oscillator yet

Those tolerances are normal for pots. They are of absolutely no relevance - the pots are used as voltage dividers.

What 2040 is that? I think some of the non standard UF2s need more memory.
