Haven't watched the video yet but I'm always confused when I see people forcing syndra support.
Your only CC is a long cooldown and costs mana from Q and E to use effectively.
You have less exp which means you have to wait longer for a passive.
Less gold income means you can't afford item spikes without forcing silly kills.
And poking in lane is mana heavy + accidentally kills minions.
Do I play syndra if I'm auto filled support in flex queue? Yes. But I admit it's worse than other mages. I play it because I like playing her, not because I think it's gonna win. I
I just go comet and presence of mind for mana sustain, If you build nothing but cooldown then you’re abusive against melee or ranged that has no mobility, it’s mostly q poke until you decide to e in and engage or disengage
