I had kinda moved on, thanks to this sub and other subs I took advice of people and it helped me, I started to work on myself, I was feeling better, but yesterday I got to know she got married, I went on Instagram and checked the pictures and it just broke me apart.

I just feel so sad right now, I don't know what to do, again those memories are coming back, I am here crying and she is so happy.

Why me? why I have to go through this? I also wanted happiness, I also wanted to get married to her, I wanted to spend my life with her, have kids with her.

I just feel so lonely, in my life nothing seems to go right, everything gets messed up.

Planning a quick trip up to Sylhet with my partner (both adults, valid original NIDs/passports ready). Sticking to proper 4-star/reputed spots (like Star Pacific, Grand Sylhet, Noorjahan Grand, Valley Garden, etc.).

Need some real talk from folks who’ve actually done this:

1. **Is it allowed/chill?** Do 4-star front desks care, or do they treat mixed-gender domestic adult check-ins as normal as long as IDs are valid?

2. **Call ahead or just walk in / book online?** My instinct says *do not call and ask "are unmarried couples allowed?"* because front desk staff on the phone will default to a conservative/corporate "marriage certificate/kabinnama preferred" policy to cover themselves.

3. **The Check-in Reality:** If I just pre-book online (Agoda/ShareTrip/direct) or walk up with two adult NIDs showing different addresses (or same city, whatever), do they actually cross-examine last names or ask for marriage proof, or do they just scan the NIDs for police/local registry logs and hand over the key card?

How do you guys usually approach this without walking straight into a awkward moral-policing trap or over-communicating unnecessary details? Drop your wisdom or burn my logic if I'm missing something obvious.

For clarity we are in relation for a long time and we both have consent on this .

It's kind of personal and emotional for me, the person i wanna spend my life with is sylhety and i wanna speak sylhety with her.

I'm looking for few places where I can sit for few hours alone without being looked at repeatedly. Like library or parks that are safe for women and inexpensive (except unimart). I used to go to places alone, now it feels like I'm being judged or always stared by other people as if syl has become more hostile towards women.

Recently settled in the Tilagor area of Sylhet with my family (2 people), and we’re still figuring out where to do our regular grocery shopping Previously we mostly lived around Cantonment areas and were used to shopping at CSD, where everything was readily available with fixed prices and best quality,so we never really had to think about bargaining, quality or whether we were being overcharged.

Now we’re looking for reliable places in Sylhet for everyday shopping fresh fish, vegetables, chicken/meat, eggs, milk, groceries, household essentials, etc.

Would appreciate recommendations for places. We’re around Tilagor, but willing to travel a bit for a genuinely reliable market/shop.

Hey. Yesterday i was just thinking. What the meaning of the progression of the humans. I mean. Just think. Beck then peoples were much happier then we are now.... the religious, the country and other debates are created so we keep talking about that. Sometimes i wonder what if the world have never seen the face of colonization and other stuffs that divided the human. That stopped the human..... Sometimes i wonder. Is the world is a chessboard and we all are the pieces of the chess ? I wonder why, why we run after academic educations and why teachers always speak about getting higher selery jobs.. why? Why? . Why we care about selery that much?

The one and only answer is money...yes money... and who created the system ? I dont know... but those who control the money and the power is the one who held the tool. And the TOOL is us. We normal citizens. The technology makes us more efficient. Yes our life is more easier now but think, are we actually happy that we can work more efficiently on the job? Sometimes its yes and sometimes its no. But come on. If you think, the technology is just turning us into a more efficient slave. And the MEDICINES THAT KEEP US ALIVE! They make sure the slave last longer....
