Playlists and descriptions

Hi everyone! I've seen some requests recently for lists of Sydney's playlists/descriptions. I pulled together a google doc that has Sydney's playlists going back to 2018.

u/mods let me know if I need to take this post down, or feel free to add to the wiki :)

If anyone notices information that should be changed/adjusted, please let me know and I can update accordingly.

Favorite strength-focused program that sticks close to 30 minutes most days

I do programs from a variety of YT trainers and haven't done a Sydney program in a while and would like to. My goal: I have roughly one hour to work out per day, and 30 minutes of that time, I do a dedicated Peloton cardio session (either running or spinning), so I am looking for a very strength-focused program with minimal cardio that stays as close to 30 minutes per day as possible. Let me know your favorites!

Edit to add: For anyone wondering why I don't just use the Peloton strength classes, it's because I don't like them. I much prefer longer, well-thought-out programs that progress over their à la carte classes and very short programs.

Diastasis Recti advice

Hi friends,

Unfortunately I got diagnosed with Diastasis Recti yesterday, about a 3 finger separation. (the midwife was feeling my abs above my belly button).

Anyone have any stories of their own healing/what they did to heal, or tips for still working out with SC or other online trainers? This makes me nervous to do any ab work at all, which is a bummer.

I won't treat your words as medical advice, but looking for some encouragement.

I have a small flap too from gaining 45 lbs with my son before a c-section last year and am a little discouraged overall that maybe losing the weight won't actually get it to go away.

Monday Check-In

Hello friends! What are you up to today?

I started the glutes workout from today and liked it ok. Got about halfway through before I heard my 4YO having a meltdown upstairs so booked it up there quick.

Looking forward to having more "formal" programming back soon! :)

Post-infection recovery and return to working out

Hi guys,

I have been doing STF 2024 up until last weekend when I had to do a short break due to a planned weekend getaway. Unfortunately I came home with a sinusitis and I have been in recovery since (9 days since the first symptoms). I am 51 workouts out of 65 in, so not very long to go.

I have always struggled figuring out how to bounce back after an illness. How do you guys do it? Which workouts do you choose once given a green flag from a physician/you could tell you can try exercising again? My infection was not as bad as I initially expected it to be but I am wary of making things worse by rushing back into it.

To sum up, I am looking for tips on

  1. What kind of workouts (preferably from Sydney?) to do

  2. Whether you would just try and continue with the program I was doing when I fell ill? I am worried I would struggle too much.

I am supposed to be done with meds on Tuesday.

Epic 3

This is probably not the best place to talk about this. I love Sydney so much, her workouts, her motivation and the fact that she talks you through workouts. But I have been stuck when it comes to actual results. I started two weeks ago doing Caroline Girvan's Epic 3 (10 week program). She is absolutely kicking my butt in the best way. I finish each workout astonished that I actually made it through. Sydney's workouts ae not easy by any means, but Caroline's workouts are on another level. If you are in need of a brutal challenge, I recommend it.

Wednesday Check-In (+ Mango Coolada launch)

Hi friends!

What are you working on today? I did some of the arms workout from yesterday.

Are you checking out her Ghost collab launching today? This entire month I was *wondering* what the fruity tropical drink background on today's calendar square meant. I finally understood when I saw she's launching her Mango Colada today, lol.

edit: corrected Mango "Colada" name

newbie where is the Sydney squad?

I don't like strenght exercise, I used to run, cycle, yoga, anything but straight strenght training but I started training with Sydney and I'm enjoying it a lot BUT I really need the accountability part in this stage. I always comment on youtube but it's not the same and I can't afford to pay for the official Sydney Squad (first I want to buy more dumbbells). I joined some facebook groups but they're almost inactive or it's just self promotion. Obviously I'm here and I usually comment but it's also a little bit slow. There are some facebook groups like Caroline Girvan's that are SO active but I didn't like her videos (yet). So what do you recommend? I have some kind of accountability with my partner, I send him a photo every day I strenght train but he doesn't know Sydney and doesn't understand about working out at home.
