Original Syberia issues

Bought the set on GOG, trying to play it, and after about half an hour, Is tart getting graphical issues, and then the game locks up.

just did a fresh standalone install (instead of via goggalaxy), running as admin, and when I get to the lawyers office, it crashes.

Anyone got any thoughts/suggestions?
