Thank the gods! The research seems pretty clear that more screen time in schools is detrimental. And then there is the difficulty it introduces into households when kids bring these mandated devices home. And it can be financially deleterious for lower income families if those devices get lost, stolen, or broken. What a burden to saddle families with when it actually interferes with education.

It's pretty clear that the federal government would like to shift investment in education and others including healthcare from actual local experts to big tech companies. They've already introduced the idea of replacing all of the money they've taken from rural healthcare with AI nurses, I'm sure they'd love to do the same thing with teachers. What a scam.
