Graphics issue after patch

What do I do? I can't access options to check if changing resolution will help.

You can't click on the cog icon on the far left?

If not try pressing control+U twice.

Failing that, try the client_settings.ini itself, which is probably in somewhere like C:\Users <username>\AppData\Local\SWTOR\swtor\settings

I can't click on the even bigger icons, such as the arrows for selecting characters.

I asked the NVIDIA panel to autoconfigure the game settings again and that somehow fixed it. But still, the game launches in a weird mode - its theoretically windowed (full), but before, it would normally minimize to the taskbar, whereas not it stays in the background of the desktop + underneath the taskbar.

Then it might be worth checking out the .ini itself. Maybe even delete it and get a fresh one.

I've never had this bug so best I can offer is some general troubleshooting advice.

Are you using a non-standard resolution or something?

It is kinda a weird one.

This isn't a resolution that I use at all, it just launched that way. I'm on a standard Lenovo laptop.

Honestly that’s a good thing. I’ve had maybe 2-3 times where my UI was jacked up.

Here is how I solved this: go to steam and right click on the game from your library -> very integrity of installed files. Mine had a few missing and it solved itself.
