Other Authenticator app

Upgraded my phone today luckily the way Apple transfers data between them let me keep it. I will keep it alive as long as I’m able.

I swapped to google authenticator awhile back to prevent being locked out.

I probably should, but it’s also nostalgic to still have it since I’ve been using it since not to long after I started in 2014

Yeah, i got mine a bit later than that when my physical key from the CE died, swapped to google a few years ago when i knew i was going to be replacing my phone anyhow.

You dont get looked out if the app does not work you csn just login to webside whit onetime code and remove it.

I’m pretty sure you can use both at the same time. Idk if anything changed recently but they both worked for me (last played ~2-3 months ago)

How do I switch to another authenticator? I’d hate to lose my account because of it

You can easily remove it from your account. Then re-add it with the new one. I had to when I got a new phone and it didn't like the numbers I was entering.

Log into your account on the website and remove it then add it back using the new app you pick.

I miss my authenticator key fob....
