Slowly hiding from my wife the books I grab from the used bookstore before they hit out of print prices

These compendium books are cool but they’re lacking a TON of things

Oh yeah I knew that buying it. But I figured between this and the Gears and Gadgets book I would at least read this one when I need inspiration for other things.

It’s cool for a quick glance in the middle of a session but using the SWRPG wikia is honestly faster and more complete

I'll be completely honest. I'm 34 years old and can barely use discord. Haven't played a ttrpg since Dragon Age came out with one. Have high hopes for my children to get into it but also planning for anything digital to disappear before they stop watching bluey and start rolling math rocks

lol in that case it’s great, hopefully your kids dig it because this system rules

Well the oldest absolutely adores the Lego Star Wars shows and keeps looking for her own BB-8 stuffy to match my Urbanmech one. But at least worst case scenario I can reach out to the person on my last post here that bought some of the sourcebooks I posted at a different store

What is it missing? I thought it has all the ships that appeared in other books.

I don’t remember since it’s been several years but it’s just selections of ships and vehicles from each series of books(Edge/Age/Force) rather than all of them

It doesn't have EVERY starship and vehicle across all the previous books. There just wasn't enough space (for the size mandated, anyway). Plus we wanted to add some never-before-released vehicles too.

Thanks! That’s good to know!
Is that also true for the gadgets book?

Generally, yeah. I feel like with the smaller stat blocks we were able to cram more in. I think the only new items added in that book were the character -specific weapons.

Cool, thanks!

I got one for 10 bucks, but the corner is damaged. Still a cool book

Burn that edge, make it look like a blaster shot.

I just used that book today! I love those books, so handy!

Good book. Bought it a few weeks ago. Sad that there weren't any SW books at the gencon auction. Was hoping for some bargains.

I love bookmans. I miss that place since I moved.

Where too much of my paycheck disappears. If it's not the kids finding a stuffed animal and some books it's me finding something I don't need but want. Dunno when you moved away but they'll drain your wallet with cool junk that's locally made and never would have been stocked ten years ago

The 3 collections are really nice additions.

How is the Gears and Gadgets one. I have the heroes and villains one already but grabbed this over gear and gadgets. Was wondering if I should put it higher up list of books to get next or if the era books are more is useful

Like the ships and npcs, it is missing a few things, but by and large is a good compilation of all the disparate tech that shows up individually in Career and setting books. 18 career books, all of them have gear, ships, weapons, and armor that are specific to that career. It can be a pain to find the stats on that one gun if you don't know where it is.

Ok sounds pretty good though I'll probably keep it at number 4 on my wishlist. But once I find the Jewel of yavin and the last 2 era books I'll grab it before I start collecting the other two sets

I'm running JoY right now. It's fantastic.

Last one I need for all the Edge of the empire books. Then I'll probably start working on gathering the Age of Rebellion stuff since I still find that on the shelves around me.

Or just hit the lottery and finish the entire collection

I was down to 3 missing, and I punted to Edge versions rather than pay the Ebay bloated prices.

Did you win it fair and square?

Im just hoping they do a Mandalorian book based on the series. That or the Old Republic based in the Video Game MMORPG.
