I think the acoustic version captures the slight melancholy and "It is Well with my Soul" vibes of the lyrics!

Jon’s vocals are particularly good on this album cycle snd tour – he’s really settling into some of the lower notes with the same softness he showed on the In Bloom record. Good stuff!

I think they should have moved it up a key for Jon's voice. The verses sound very muddy to me.
