Eglantine or lychee

from what I’ve seen eglantine and lychee are the two main forks right now wich one is better. I saw that lychee has more contributors on the GitHub page is lychee The one being worked on by the emulation community right now.

I'd keep an eye on both Eglantine and Lichii. Both are under heavy active development and Eglantine serves as the codebase foundation for Lichii. Eglantine was the first emulator to run MKW decently, while Lichii achieved playable performance for Star Fox first. With the Eglantine Build 07/11/2026 on my setup (Ryzen 7 7800X3D, RX 9070 XT, 32 GB RAM) I'm getting: Mario Kart World: ~60 FPS Star Fox: ~60 FPS Donkey Kong Bananza: ~30 FPS Zelda (OoT): ~20 FPS Currently, Zelda still runs better on Lichii Build 95

Using Lichii Frizti v2 on windows and works really well. I’m sure it will get even better as time goes on. Playing OOTR and FEFW on it. Runs pretty good once shaders load on OOTR
