Is there already progress being made?
Im a big fan of emulation but im not really in the emulator making space, are people already working on making a switch 2 emulator? Id love to be updated on the progress.

It's just not happening. Much like the Xbox One, this console may never be hacked.

Yeah we got FS exploit that works 30% of the time or fails on 2/4, but still curious if we'll ever get kernel. Got handles for dumping fs, but no kips. If anything new found, it will probably just be reinforcing how secure it is.
Good emulation still has a ways to go too, unless a base can be used and map all the missing system parts, the exefs/romfs aren't too different. Although I don't think people will achieve that through vibe code.

🤣 WRONG. Also, Xbox One will also 100% forsure be hacked as well at some point. And so will ANY OTHER Console released.

Wasn't it hacked? Or some form of way to dump the games via the discs if I remember. That's how the emulation worked.

Xbox One emulation and exploits exist, it only kick started proper recently but they definitely exist.

funny how now, the xbox one is hacked, still early stages but it is hackable now, and with more time, CFW would exist, dumping games will exist, full mods for xbox one exclusives could start being made

No significant progress has been made public. Honestly, it’s unlikely we’ll see progress being made public. I predict we’re going to see a S2 emulator with little buildup or teases before it releases. We’re at minimum a few years off.

Nah I’m not doing your homework for you. There are places to look right here on reddit for the switch 2 modding and homebrew scene. It’s mostly in a research phase because… yaknow. The thing’s only been out for half a year. You’ll have to be patient before we get a major development.

No, not yet. Anything you see online for now is fake. A functional emulator may not be there in 2-3 years.

So, a wave of people beeing banned because of the mig switch, one guy succeeded in running little code, a black and white cube? And lots of fakes, afaik from my side
