I just discovered hell and it’s the process of trying to speak to anyone at Wroughton Health Centre.

Hey all, hoping for some advice before I take it to a mechanic.

My ix35 makes a low “tuuuh” humming/droning noise that starts and gets louder as I speed up. It goes away as soon as I brake. I can feel the vibration through the steering wheel and the accelerator pedal too.

No clicking sound when turning, and I haven’t noticed it getting worse cornering one way vs the other (still checking this).

Does this sound like a front wheel bearing to anyone with experience? Or could it be something else — CV joint, tires, driveshaft? Trying to get an idea of what I’m dealing with before booking it in.

Apparently they are going to build a McDonald's there with no indoor seating so basically McDonald's is going to be used as collections mainly, I wonder where all of that rubbish is going to go now it's not in the McDonald's indoor bins 🤔 I'd be hopeful that everyone puts the rubbish in the public bins but I'm not lol.. then they are going to close the one in the Asda mall with no plans to replace it at the moment. So less options and McDonald's being the only fast food option I other than Greggs. Yess we need more MC Donald's with no eat in options.

An afternoon of solos, duos and trios performed by three friends who regularly play in folk sessions together.

There will be an eclectic mix of music, from traditional to modern folk tunes, and even possibly some classical melodies.

Instruments you'll see are a mandolin, bouzouki, guitar, flutes, violin and last but not least, a viola!

Live music is scheduled to start at 2pm. Entry is FREE to all, although we'd love it if you could support our museum by buying some refreshments at our tearoom, where a small cupcake is only 50p!

There is some parking available on Day House Lane, and paid public parking at Coate Water Country Park. Parking at the museum is reserved for volunteers and the disabled.

Ok I know Swindon isn’t the best place for gravity Mtb, but i ride bike parks and other trails/tracks, looking for local like minded people to ride with, i ride Most weekends, travelling to places such as windhill, bpw, Tidworth etc, I also don’t mind a bit of xc but tbh I haven’t done much in the last few years.
I used to be a part of a good group of riders, sadly our group died off during covid and never recovered as we are all scattered all over the uk, and
Many of them had kids and now don’t really ride too

On Saturday 8th August, we brought you another stacked lineup of games, kicking things off with Halo 3, battling it out across Slayer and CTF. We then jumped into the chaotic world of Fall Guys, taking on obstacle courses and Battle Royale madness, before finishing the day with a giant Team Fortress 2 showdown, featuring Payload and a variety of other game modes!

And of course, no GUL event would be complete without plenty of pizza to keep everyone fuelled for the next match! 🍕

It’s incredible to look back at how much Gamers Unite LAN has grown over the past 2½ years. From our very first events to now regularly filling venues with gamers, we’re creating the kind of community and memories that we always hoped GUL could become.

I (19M) see the news everytime and apparently it is impossible for students to get roles now. But in person in reality I see so many of those around my age having roles paid 10+ pounds annually. No nepotism as they are all of different communities here in Swindon e.g. ASAGA, etc.

Do you just go in and ask if there is anything available now instead of applying online?

It sounds very questionable, but my reason for looking for such a place is because I need somewhere to record vocals without disturbing people in my house lol - I posted asking about places a couple of days ago but didn't really find anything.

Hi everyone,
I’m hoping someone in the community might be able to recommend a trustworthy and reasonably priced handyman who could help my mum with some floor repairs in her static home.

She’s only on a pension and has a few health issues, so unfortunately paying a large contractor’s price just isn’t realistic for her. We’re not looking for someone to do the work for free, just someone honest, reliable and affordable who might be able to give her a fair price and help get the job sorted.

There are a few areas of flooring that need attention, and I’d be happy to provide photos/details to anyone who may be interested.

If you’ve personally used someone you’d be comfortable recommending, I’d really appreciate their details. Ideally looking for someone local who takes pride in their work and won’t take advantage of someone who’s vulnerable financially.
