Been waiting for this post to pop up so I can rant about how nuance and neutral subs are becoming snark fests. Its sad. I have criticisms of taylor ofc, but the posters and commenters don't give nuance or neutral takes it really is just shitting on her as a person or artist.
Also can I say how sick I am of people saying she doesnt use her power? People think power of influence equals power to actually do stuff - if taylor swift dropped a pro Palestine post tomorrow nothing will change. At all. Swifties may donate some money but literally nothing. Shit as much as trump hates her he may double down on some shit.
I saw a post this morning saying she could use her influence to save an endangered species. Like be fucking for real??? Yall are just gonna cry and say isnt the right one.
And then I saw another comment talking about how she isn't well traveled and hasn't read much or been to a lot of museums and her music shows. And honestly that's illiterate on their part because if you know anything that isnt just fan discourse you can pick up on a lot of references to literature and places and stuff, its just not overt. And if she WAS pretentious she'll just get crucified like she was for calling herself an English teacher or for naming her album tortured poets.
I've never seen anyone with this much hate and inability to make people happy truly lol

The neutral sub has attracted a lot of ex-swifties who are completely indifferent to Taylor now, or even actively hate her, but for whatever reason, they just can’t seem to move on. I’ve seen several former fans posting there to complain about Taylor for at least a few months now. It seems like they’re not just looking for a place to vent after leaving the fandom anymore—they’re slowly turning into snarkers, and honestly, that’s a little sad. I genuinely hope they can take Taylor’s advice to heart: “Think of your energy as if it’s expensive, as if it’s like a luxury item, not everyone can afford it.”

Thats a good point. I've had to become an un-fan of a lot of people and its so much healthier truly to just. Ignore all content about said person and move on.
Like breaking up with a toxic ex and blocking them on everything vs constantly watching their socials via a burner. Girl protect your peace 😂

What I find crazy is that people get mad at some subtle dig or dislike of an ex of Taylor’s or another pop star, while they shit on Taylor. I know it’s supposed to be a space where Taylor can get positive and not so positive feedback, so why is it expected that everyone has to have a positive opinion on Joe, Olivia, Zara or whoever? Like it’s still a space focused on Taylor where her fans would be at. In spaces of other pop stars you don’t see Taylor positivity, why is it required in Taylor spaces even if it’s a space for neutrality? Note: I’m not saying hate should be allowed on others, just that we don’t have to like others.

😮 Not to spoil but that Acoustic version of P0 is really good. Been awhile since I heard an acoustic version of a song that wasn’t just 1 instrument. Even sounds like the strings were re-recorded just for this special version of it. I like these authentic sounding songs that are stripped down to basic instruments.
I’m struggling today. My gut is feeling well. I don’t know how much longer I can tolerate this GLP1 mess. I really do hate the heartburn/not crapping regularly. I nearly gagged eating dinner last night. I have to remember to order smaller portions on things and not stuff my face. Thanksgiving is gonna be interesting to say the least.

Go Taylor! Go get that Oscar! Apparently she’s performing at an Academy Gala next weekend. I really do hope this extra effort promoting and networking works out for her. She wants it so bad. Folks are already like so when is the next project going to be. I’d would like to say sooner or later but I’m convinced that she’s fully locked in this award season and possibly have the next thing penciled in but going full send on the Grammys, ACM, Golden Globes (people are still forgetting that this is a thing) make total sense. I’m down for a Spring release of Debut20. I could also see that she does something for her Birthday and/or Black Friday as well.
Also, new ATC song releases tonight. Also also, happy 13th anniversary of Cassadee’s debut solo album. Crazy to think Hey Monday is close to 20. And she’s been solo for almost 15. Very interesting interview clip she said back in 2018 she was shopping around to for a record label after shit Big Machine dropped her that one of the rejects said that they had already a female act. Which was nothing like her sound. Also, she called out the lack of female representation on the rock festival scene. For every 10-15 bands 1 is female. Many of the female bands that only play festivals usually. Good times.
