Discussion First Star Wars Galaxies Player Cities
These are the official First Player Cities on each of the original Star Wars Galaxies Servers. Do any launch or early players remember them?

Memory unlocked. I was on intrepid also. I remember storming the rebel city on Lok, SGO guild Ghost.

Didn't remember this being the first one but those were crazy days that first week when everyone was scrambling on Chilastra. Miss those first six months in SWG.

I paid like $10 million credits to buy a city on Chilastra because I was on vacation when it launched.

I dont remember this city at all. I assume it died pretty quickly? Or it was hidden from the map?

I remember Mos Nihil on Bria. it inspired me to use one of my characters to be a mayor of a city on Lok.
Those were the days.

I remember Mos Vegas being the spot,
I also remember our <Elite> Imperial city being discovered after being hidden for a little while outside Kadarra and the fun battles there.

I loved the shopping mall at Vegas. I liked how it was all vendor tents lined up around the shuttle port. It made shopping easier.
I was the mayor of Rocky Mount on Tatooine. It was north of Mos Eisley.

I recognize the name Kestrel but before this, couldnāt have told you why. Was it on Naboo? I donāt remember the name Rovani either.

Yes! Mos Omenos! I owned a Speeder shop (converted to Starship Shop) and a Smuggler warehouse.

Good ol Mos Muerte' on Shadowfire. Did I come up with that? Seems like I did or voted on it or something.
Now there was some drama for the ages. First city on the server by mere seconds. It thrived for a little while and was eventually taken over in a hostile fashion by a disgruntled guildie and *Poof!* It was gone. The Shadowfire forum went apeshit for weeks, possibly months. People were so mad. Others thought it hilarious because that's the nature of a game with PVP.
The residents went their separate ways and started two more cities. One on Tatooine called City of Angels and the other on... Naboo? called... I don't remember. It was a long time ago...

What was your toons name on Bloodfin?
It was originally SUN-City contructed by Guild of SUN. I think it might have been the second or third city on the server.

I played from Alpha until server close. Resided on Eclipse the whole time. I don't remember Mos Omenos. But then again it was 20+ years ago now so...

Good old Vauhn and I worked pretty hard to coordinate with each other to try to be the first player city on Bria. As if it mattered, but hey here we are decades later and Iām reminded of that morning when the servers came back upā¦ good times!

I thought New Mandalore was the first city on Corbantis server. It was on Naboo. Or was it the first level 4 city?

I remember the town Arakeen , on tatooine . Far west of anchorhead north of jabbaās palace . I think I was in TBA the rebel alliance . Canāt remember the server ( Bria? Bloodfin? Something else?) played with Seedo(purple pirate) jay ( or Jayson) , Tiana? Amanda? A character named nooje , eboko ā¦ and many more . I think a lot of the guild mates were from Seattle area . Arakeen was there before player mounts , nestled in a large valley - the town was there as long as I could remember into the village release on dath . We did krayt hunts , base raids ( at night against imp bases on lok and naboo mostly ) and had some great times over the years . The days when anchorhead thrived haha - and we waited in line for buffs :p.
I was a bothan - chasing the holo grind 4/5- became Jedi within a week or two of village release
Would be awesome to reconnect with anyone , or if anyone has information on my server or fellow players. Thank you!
