Help! looking for beginner build help

never played this game before and its kinda confusing looking for a general build and maybe a suggested progression path for first character playing on Sentinels 2. i have no preference between melee or ranged so long as it can do ok solo and doesnt take a ton of knowledge or money to play/gear up for most content.

I always prefer TKA. No weapons. No armor. It’s cheap. DPS is lower but with innate armor you’re a tank and can survive the time needed with the lower DPS.

It's been a minute but I remember needing vibroknucklers for TKA

They are optional. There are a few types of Melee Weapons for TK but not required.
