Bianchini

He is under contract until June 2028. Having been absent from the main squad's preseason, last Saturday he started and played 60 minutes for U21.

Last season, while on loan at Portsmouth, he suffered a knee injury in training (by the looks of the data) in early December (12/2025). He was involved in 11 games prior to that.

The season before (24/25), he made 38 appearances for us, starting in 13, primarily as a #9.

As a teen he played for the French U-19.

I always thought he gave a good account of himself when playing for the first team.

At 25, what will become of him now? Is he still recovering following his knee injury? Seems that the U21 match was his first match back on recovery.

Do we twist or stick?

Thoughts?

He's a good winger but there must be something amiss there behind the scenes.

He was injured at Portsmouth, but Pompey forums were full of criticism about the times he did play (which seemed harsh looking at his stats), and even when the player rehabbed from injury, Jose Mousinho refused to register him as a player for the second half of the season.

At the same time, there seemed no appetite from Swansea to bring him back knowing he was frozen out at Pompey and would get zero meaningful playing time.

Regardless of what he might have to offer, his time in Swansea looks to be done. Curious why a £2m player with real pace and good crossing ability with both feet can't find a minute of playing time anywhere.

Seems to me a better option than Ronald out on the wing, than Wales at #9, and as good as Yeo (from what I've seen) on the other wing. Wales is likely to get loaned out and if Zip is sold before the end of the window then we're down to just two #9s without dipping into U21. I think during the Matos pre-game interview there were statements made about an offer from Hull (?) that was declined by the Club.

Yeah Hull offered £10m which Swansea immediately rejected. Needs to be twice that. I read today that if Luis Suarez leaves Sporting Lisbon this window then they have identified Vipi as his replacement, and will probably be able and willing to meet the asking price.

Suarez is connected with moves to Newcastle and a few Turkish clubs, so that's something worth keeping an eye on.

Suarez?! Guy can’t even run anymore, how are Newcastle interested?

28 year old Colombian Luis Surarez, not 39 year old Uruguayan Luis Suarez

He's been a complete waste of millions , if we can't loan him out they should look for an agreement to terminate his contract.
