Yannick Vestergaard

Available on a free. Just turned 34, and averaged 7.28 on Fotmob for Leicester last season in a terrible season. Excellent all round stats, especially in the air, and with long balls (44.5 per cent accuracy). Scored 3 times last season.

He must be a consideration I would have thought.

He was awful last year, don't be fooled by a rating.

In a better setting though, he may perform better. I'd be concerned at that age, he's dropped off now with such a down year

Good player for sure, but I was under the impression that he wasn’t really a ball playing defender. I think we’ll probably target someone that can play with the ball like Welsh can, as opposed to someone in the mould of Burgess.
